Taylor
Taylor and her husband got married in Valle Di Badia in Tuscany last August. She was gorgeous in Tiffany by Enzoani, which she found with our wonderful Bristol team!
Tell us a bit about your day!
We had a late ceremony, starting at 4:30pm, that took place outside in front of the small chapel within the venue grounds. We only invited 44 guests in total, so it was intimate and felt very special. After the ceremony we had an al'fresco cocktail hour, and then went on to have dinner inside. We opted for black, white, and green as our colour scheme, wanting it to feel classic, yet modern. Ensuring that the wedding as a whole felt timeless was important to us, as we wanted to look back and still love everything. My husband wore a Black tux, and we asked our guests to abide to a 'black tie' dress code, therefore all men wore black suits, and the women in beautiful gowns. It was everything we dreamed of and more.
How did you end up finding 'the one'?
I had a clear idea of what I wanted, a classic dress with a modern element. I knew I wanted an overskirt, so that I could have the best of both worlds. Tiffany by Enzoani was the last dress I tried on, and it ticked every box!
What did you love about being a The White Collection bride?
The staff were so helpful, and really took on what I wanted my vision/ look to be. There was no pushing me into something, they genuinely cared about what I wanted. I orginally booked to visit the Clevedon store, and after trying a few dresses on, the staff said they thought the collection in the Portishead store would suit my vision better, and immediately called the other store to book me in. I drove over there straight away and ended up finding my perfect dress! I'm so grateful that the staff encouraged this!!!
Did you have bridesmaids? How did you involve them in the wedding and how did you decide on their wedding wardrobe?
I only had one 'bridesmaid' - a maid of honour. I wanted to keep it simple and not complicate things with lots of bridesmaids to keep happy! As my overall theme was classic black and white, I chose a black floor length dress for her to wear.
What was your favourite part of the day?
I can’t choose - it was all amazing! Just went too fast!
